The Little Nell’s' wine program has a reputation as rich as its cellar. Not only have we earned the Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1997, but we’ve also achieved the remarkable feat of graduating 11 of North America’s Master Sommeliers, the most of any establishment in North America. This means that when you dine at The Little Nell, you have the opportunity to truly experience the art of wine.The Nell is proud to have dozens of sommeliers on staff, ranging from introductory to advanced. Chris Dunaway runs our wine program with sommeliers, Jesse Libby, Rachael Liggett-Draper, and Adam Darlington. This team brings an infectious passion to the hotel’s wine program, not only focusing on our guests’ wine experience but also our staff’s ongoing wine education.
The Little Nell hosts several phenomenal wine events each year from customized wine dinners to tastings and special events during The Food & Wine Classic.
With 20,000+ wines in our cellar, our approach is based on a list that majors on classic producers and regions, with multiple vintages and wines from a roster of the world’s biggest names, from Roulot and Romanée-Conti in Burgundy to Ridge and Screaming Eagle in California, via Chave Hermitage, Piedmont’s Gaja and a superb collection of mature classed-growth claret. We invited you to peruse our wine list with unique wines by the bottle or the glass available in our restaurants, bars, and in-room dining, wines by the glass. Wine Club at The Little Nell
The Little Nell Wine Club is designed for oenophiles interested in ordering wine for preferred pricing, with guidance from our expert sommeliers and the opportunity to have it stored onsite. Membership begins with a personal consultation with Wine Director Chris Dunaway. The annual fee is $8,000, which is applied towards stocking your wine collection in designated rows in our all-glass, refrigerated wine wall at Element 47. Each membership is commemorated with a silver plaque and name engraved on it. Among the benefits, members have access to order wines from rare allocated producers from classic regions, as well as unlisted wines from our attic, all with a 10% reduction on purchases.
