Director of Operations Josh Rosenberg began his journey in the hospitality industry after graduating from San Francisco State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on Neuromuscular Science. To save money for graduate school, he took a job as a doorman at the Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghirardelli Square Hotel, and soon discovered a love for hospitality. He advanced to become the Residence Manager at the Fairmont where he spent three years. He eventually moved back to his hometown of LA to pursue a career in hospitality joining the prestigious Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, where he held various management positions in the rooms division. He also worked at Four Seasons Washington, D.C., and Four Seasons Denver, and served on two task force committees at Four Seasons Lanai in Hawaii and Four Seasons One Dalton in Boston as part of the hotels’ opening team. He joined The Little Nell in 2023, bringing more than 12 years of industry experience spanning three hotel brands (Mandarin Oriental in addition the previous two noted). Josh finds fulfillment in the impact of small acts of kindness and authenticity to enhance the guest experience. He enjoys connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and positively influencing their stay. He was drawn to The Little Nell for its reputation for excellence and wanted to delve into the unique dynamics of luxury hospitality in a mountainous setting. During his first winter in Aspen, Josh developed a love for skiing could see why guests return year after year. Beyond the slopes, Josh enjoys tennis, hiking, and exploring the vibrant dining scene. During his tenure with Four Seasons, Josh earned multiple consecutive nominations for Manager of the Quarter, a testament to his dedication and leadership prowess. One of his greatest joys is mentoring aspiring leaders and guiding them towards success in the hospitality industry. Josh takes pride in maintaining an unwavering management style that is always approachable and fair, though firm, when necessary, while still having fun. He met his wife, Verda, working at the Beverly Wilshire and has been fortunate enough to live and work in three different cities together all with Four Seasons with the most recent being Denver, where she continues to work and live. They visit one another often in the city or Aspen or on trips to exciting locations.
