May Selby, Director of VIP Experiences

May Selby, Director of Public Relations and Social Media
After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a French major and art history minor, May moved to Aspen and made it home. During her tenure, she’s developed relationships throughout various sectors from non-profit development to television production to event planning to luxury hospitality marketing. She has written a popular weekly column for The Aspen Times since 2000, chronicling culture and society in the Roaring Fork Valley. She spent a decade on the marketing team for Timbers Resorts, a luxury resort developer promoting sales and experiences for their portfolio of properties around the world. May joined The Little Nell as Director of Public Relations in 2014 and has secured meaningful coverage and awards for the hotel and associated brands, developed unique collaborations, and launched the custom publication, Après, with a biannual magazine and in-room channel. In her role as Director of VIP Experiences, May combines her strengths and interests in storytelling, building connections, and creating immersive moments for guests. May is a member of Aspen Institute’s Society of Fellows, the Caribou Club, and Elks Lodge, and loves to ski, read, travel, run marathons, and spend time with her husband and their son.
