The Wine Bar at The Little Nell

The Wine Bar is Aspen’s coziest après-ski address, recently refreshed with an Alpine chic décor and an array of seating arrangements. A DJ spins vinyl records from 4 – 7 pm Thursdays - Sundays, while dedicated service, a full menu of wines by the glass and bottle, craft cocktails, light bites, and more are available daily. New this ski season are two cocktail hours offered daily from 3 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm with specials on featured drinks and wines by the glass.

Award-Winning Sommeliers

The Wine Bar is proud to have an award-winning wine program, led by a reputable team of sommeliers. Overseen by Wine Director Chris Dunaway, our knowledgeable staff aims to immerse you and your party in an extravagant Aspen wine experience. The team has continued to maintain a level of excellence while earning the Wine Spectator Grand Award every year since 1997 and receiving the World of Fine Wine’s “Best Hotel Wine List in the World” recognition in 2023, while also archiving the remarkable feat of graduating 13 of North America’s Master Sommeliers, the most of any establishment in the country. With that said, every guest will be enthralled by the level of charisma and expertise each sommelier brings to your dining experience.

Flavorful Wine Selection

Offering an extensive list of rare wines, The Wine Bar features around 35 different wines by the glass, charcuterie and cheese boards for light bites, as well as a full bar menu. As our on-site cellar has a wine collection of over 20,000 from the world’s highly esteemed vineyards, including Roulot and Romanée-Conti in Burgundy and Ridge and Screaming Eagle in California, this Aspen wine bar will feature a rotating selection to ensure your palate is fully satisfied every time you visit.

Take part in our Coravin Wine Tasting for $200 per person, available nightly after 7 pm by reservation only. You’ll be led through a blind tasting, learning how to see, smell and sip four different wines, complemented by a cheese board from our culinary team. For an elevated experience, reserve a private wine tasting in our subterranean cellar with our sommelier team.

Wine Bar Reservations

Reserve your experience at The Wine Bar on Resy. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Please note: après-ski VIP table reservations from 3 to 11 pm can accommodate up to 10 guests and require a $2,000++ minimum food & beverage spend. Table reservations are available for smaller groups with an applicable minimum spend.

For guests seeking a more private, personalized experience, The Wine Bar is available as a full buyout. This intimate space is available for private, customized wine dinners with dedicated sommelier service, a DJ and more.
