JESSICA Evans, Assistant Director of Events

Born and raised in Aspen, local Jessica Evans always jumped at the opportunity to showcase the allure of her small mountain town, continually rediscovering the Roaring Fork Valley through the eyes of first-time visitors. In 2010, Jessica earned a degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Elementary Education and a focus in English Education from the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating and traveling, she returned home to teach at the Aspen School District "Cottage" and Aspen Country Day School. Throughout college and her early teaching career, her passion for event planning grew. In 2016, the owner of EKS Events—a parent of one of her students—offered her a position, sparking her career in the events industry. Following event management roles at Bluebird Productions and Kemo Sabe, Jessica was drawn to The Little Nell for the events team's renowned standard of excellence. She joined as an Events Manager in the spring of 2023, was promoted to Assistant Director of Events in the winter of 2024, and advanced to Director of Events in 2026. From the pride and energy she radiates when producing events, it is clear there is no better way to experience Aspen than through the venues and views at The Little Nell. Outside of work, Jessica loves cooking and hosting, spending quality time with her husband and one-year-old daughter, and embracing the outdoors—from uphill, cross-country, and downhill skiing in the winter to hiking, farmer's markets and outdoor concerts in the summer.
