International Women's Day

Sunday, March 8, 2020 | 1:15 PM | Aspen Mountain + Chair 9

Meet at the top of Aspen Mountain at 1:15 pm for an International Women's Day ski parade, hosted by Aspen Snowmass. The parade will follow the ski trails Silver Bell to Spar Gulch to Little Nell and end at the base of the mountain.

Following the parade, head to Chair 9 for a panel discussion with Aspen Skiing Company and ski industry representatives about gender in the ski industry. After the speeches, stay at Chair 9 for an International Women’s Day après party and gallery showing, with local female photographers' photos on display. The gallery showing features work from Aspen Skiing Company photographers, Ann Driggers, Anna Stonehouse, Tamara Susa and Jordan Curet. Bid on your favorite photo in a silent auction benefiting the Caring For Community fund.

Panel speakers include;
Melanie Mills—President and CEO of Colorado Ski Country USA
Kelly Pawlak—CEO of the National Ski Area Association
Meegan Moszynski—Executive Director of the National Ski Patrol Association
Katie Ertl—Senior Vice President of Mountain Operations for Aspen Skiing Company
