2017 AUDI FIS SKI WORLD CUP FINALS

Aspen Snowmass is proud to be selected to host one of the most prestigious events on the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup, the 2017 World Cup Finals. The longtime World Cup community was selected by the International Ski Federation for the March 15 - 19, 2017 races that will bring both the men’s and women’s tour to Aspen. The Finals will be the first outside Europe since 1997 and the return of men’s World Cup in Aspen for first time since 2001. Visit the Aspen Snowmass website for additional information.

All races will be held on Aspen Mountain and viewing will be available both along the course and at the finish arena. Free public shuttles to the races will run continuously to the venue entrance on Monarch Street from 8 am – 2 pm. Please note that lift 1-A will not be open to the public during the races. The World Cup International Village will be located in the heart of Aspen at Wagner Park. Activities, parties, international cuisine and concerts will be scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday that can be enjoyed by the whole family.Artistic creations, designed by local artists and students, which celebrate the spirit, history and international talent synonymous with Aspen ski racing, will be on display throughout the week in downtown Aspen. Håkan & Anne Thörnström, owners of the Michelin-starred Thörnströms Kök in Göteborg, Sweden, will take over element 47 for a special, one night only dinner. Thörnströms Kök (Kitchen) opened in April, 1997, serving modern Scandinavian cuisine. Fourteen years later, it received a Michelin star.
