Brittany Shami, Group & Event Sales Manager

Brittany grew up in Michigan and studied Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. While in college, she explored a career in events with an internship at a conference center working in various departments, and another internship at an event planning company, where she discovered her passion for weddings and special events. She then ventured to Colorado to work at the Aspen Meadows Resort the summer before her senior year of college, where she fell in love with the quaint mountain town. Following graduation in 2014, she made Aspen her permanent home and started her career at The St. Regis working her way up from Event Coordinator to Group Sales Specialist. After three years at The St. Regis, Brittany brought her skills to The Little Nell in September 2017 to work as the Group and Event Sales Manager. Brittany loves creating longstanding relationships with her clients at The Nell and helping them create captivating events at 11,212 feet. When she’s not working hard, you can find Brittany enjoying the great outdoors. In the summer she enjoys hiking and backpacking on the weekends, plus practicing yoga, playing tennis, hosting dinner parties, and fly fishing with her boyfriend (who is also a professional guide). In the winter, she enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and apres-skiing. Between peak seasons, Brittany loves traveling the world.
