Pastry Chef, Chris Guzman
Chris Guzman joined The Little Nell as Pastry Chef in late 2016, overseeing all desserts, breads and pastries for the hotel's restaurants, room service and banquets. Chris graduated from the California School of Culinary Arts in 2003, and shortly after began working as the Catering Pastry Cook at Bon Appetit at The Getty Center. With nearly 15 years of experience under his belt, Chris has worked at acclaimed restaurants across the country including Ink, Bottega Louie and Providence in his hometown of Los Angeles, to Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York and Charlie Trotters in Chicago.
Since moving to Aspen just a short time ago, Chris has already made an impact on the menu with his hay ice cream, cracker jack and assortment of flavorful bon bons. In early 2017, he won Aspen's annual Chocolate Classic with his coffee ganache lollipops. In his free time, Chris enjoys snowboarding, hiking and traveling.
