General Manager, Sarah Longbottom
Sarah Longbottom grew up in Australia, where she began her food & beverage career working as a hotel services assistant in high school. While studying Hospitality Management at SITE Academy Australia, she completed a hospitality internship at the Stamford Plaza Hotel and a management traineeship at Sfera’s 1877 restaurant. Following graduation, Sarah worked in Housekeeping and Food & Beverage Manager at the Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort, then as a Bar Supervisor at the South Australian Jockey Club, then Supervisor of Food & Beverage at the Grange Golf Club, then Restaurant Supervisor at the Hayman Island Resort. In 2007, Sarah decided to move to the United States to work and travel and found out about The Little Nell’s esteemed reputation. She started as a Supervisor at the hotel’s Terrace Bar, and was promoted to Supervisor at Montagna, which is now element 47. In 2014, Sarah became the AM Restaurant Manager at element 47 and transferred to Banquet Captain in 2016. In early 2017, Sarah was promoted again to General Manager at Ajax Tavern, where she currently oversees the busy lunch service. While most people say they came to Aspen for the winter, Sarah says she came for the summer. After 10 years of living in the valley, she says she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
