Assistant Manager, Itzel Gracian
Itzel Gracion began her hospitality career working as an intern at Hotel Gran Melia in Cancun while studying Hospitality Management at CESSA University in Mexico City. During college, she also completed an F&B and management internship in Spain, a sales internship in Mexico and events internship in France. Itzel learned about The Little Nell at a job fair in college, which led her to move to Aspen in 2012 to work as a server at Ajax Tavern. She transferred to The Nell’s sister property, The Limelight Hotel, in 2016 as Food and Beverage Supervisor, and then returned to The Nell to work as the Bar Supervisor. In May 2017, Itzel was promoted to Assistant Manager at Ajax Tavern. In November 2015, Itzel earned her Certified Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Itzel said her favorite aspect of working at The Nell is the beautiful location, award-winning wine program and the coworkers who she considers as family. On her free time, Itzel enjoys skiing, hiking, CrossFit, floating on the river and trying new wines.
