Recipient of the prestigious Forbes Five-Star Award for 2012 (Formerly Mobil), which marks the 17th consecutive year to receive this designation as "one of the best hotels in the world." Only 57 hotels and resorts hold this distinction. Montagna is listed as a Forbes Four Star Restaurant.  

AAA Five Diamond. 2012 marks the hotel's 21st consecutive year to receive the prestigious American Automobile Association's (AAA) Five Diamond Award. The AAA Five Diamond Award is the highest rating reserved for properties renowned for uncompromising standards of excellence in all aspects of the operation.

U.S. News and World Report. The Little Nell earned recognition as one of the 2012 Best Hotels in the U.S.A. by U.S. News & World Report, ranking #17 in a list of top properties across the country and #1 in Colorado.

Wine Spectator. For the fifteenth consecutive year, The Little Nell was recognized as a 2011 "Grand Award Winner” for its stellar wine program. This prestigious award is given to only 74 establishments.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Montagna at The Little Nell was named one of Wine Enthusiast's "100 Best Wine Restaurants" for 2011.  

Frommer's. Montagna was named one of the "10 Best Hotel Restaurants in America" for 2011.

Travel + Leisure Magazine. Recognized by Travel + Leisure in 2012 as one of “The World’s Best Hotels.” The Little Nell has been named a "World's Best Hotel" since 2007.

Condé Nast Traveler Magazine.  The Little Nell was named to Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2011 as one of the world’s best hotels and top property in Aspen.

Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association. The Little Nell was awarded the 2011 Hospitality Green Award for its work on sustainability, taking first place as the most environmentally responsible hotel in the state.
