The Tavern

The Tavern, formerly Ajax Tavern, is located at the base of Aspen Mountain. The Tavern comes to life at lunch and sizzles until late in the evening, year round.

The Little Nell’s Executive Chef Ryan Hardy created The Tavern’s distinctive bistro-inspired menu, and it features his own hand-crafted cheeses and his signature rustic approach to Rocky Mountain cuisine. Guests are treated to innovative dishes such as Colorado lamb Bolognese, buttery bouillabaisse, and Hardy’s one-of-a-kind foie gras meatloaf. Cocktail hour brings out The Tavern’s luscious cheese fondue, decadent Ajax Truffle Fries, and other gourmet fare, all complemented by an abundance of fine wines and aperitifs.

The Tavern is open daily from 11:30am to 10:00pm. Reservations are not taken for lunch, and only complete parties will be seated.
