The Little Nell is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in style with the unveiling of our newly redesigned hotel guest rooms and suites. This redesign has placed Aspen’s only ski in/ski out hotel at the forefront of aspen lodging for years to come.
As a nod to the “Aspen Idea” and to the city’s roots, internationally-renowned residential designer Holly Hunt has recreated our boutique hotel accommodations to offer guests the highest level of comfort away from home. The Little Nell’s modern “Aspen Aesthetic” design exhibits touches of classic Aspen with warm tones and a residential feel. The aesthetic is geometric and sculptural, in palettes of cream, blue and chocolate. The textured fabrics, walnut tables, wide leather chairs, velvet wrapped banquets, closet “barn” doors and stone-clad gas-burning fireplaces add to the feeling of comfort and elegance. Modern artists with classical foundations were selected to complement the design and unique attributes of each room. Our hotel guest rooms now feature the art or photography of: Caio Fonseca, Robert Kelly, Michael Eastman and Chista.
The Little Nell Hotel has 92 spacious guest rooms, including eleven suites and three signature suites. All of our guest rooms feature an environmentally friendly climate in well-appointed spaces.
For the fourteenth consecutive year, The Little Nell has been the recipient of the prestigious Forbes Five-Star Hotel Award (formerly Mobile Travel Guide), and 2009 will mark The Little Nell’s nineteenth consecutive year for the AAA Five Diamond Award. As Aspen’s only ski in/ski out and Five-Star Five Diamond hotel and residences, it is easy to see why The Little Nell has become a home away from home for so many of our guests.
